Fly Fishing
A hidden gem for fly fishing aficionados
Where Trout Creek meets the Molalla River is a confluence of many things; many involving native fish!
We have an acclimation pond on the land that along with ODFW and a local CCA acclimates 100k spring chinook per year; this year we’re at 1.4 million. So 20+ pound chinook salmon are jumping in this twenty-five feet deep refugia hole all summer long!
A perfect spot for casting is the rock pictured above with Jerry fishing. We also have a drift boat, a small electric motorized fishing boat, as well as canoes and kayaks for those whom want to do portage or fishing down the river or in our “pool.” This spot is also a hundred feet from our Bath House so you can retire from a rainy fishing expedition - hopefully successful - up to the bath house to warm your bones.
